Artist's statement: "I chose a design that incorporates natural elements like water, a boat, and a building to reflect the theme of ‘love for nature.’ I want others to appreciate the beauty of nature and the peace that can be found in the outdoors. The most challenging part of creating the collage was finding the right images that fit together cohesively while maintaining a consistent color scheme. The most rewarding part was being able to express my love of nature and the outdoors through my art and creating a final product that I'm proud to share with others."

Artist's statement: "I chose this design because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to make. I ended up choosing to make a collage with pictures of my dog because I don't get to see him as often as I used to. The most challenging part was working out exactly which pixels I needed to place the pictures on for the collage to line up properly. The most rewarding part was seeing the finished collage, and everything being neatly put together."

Artist's statement: "I chose this design for my collage because I wanted something that was simple but still very interesting to look at. One of my main focuses on this piece was the symmetry in each section I wanted to make sure that it was just right. The most challenging part about creating my collage was getting the colors just right in blocks three and five. This took me a while because I needed to find the right values in my function to get the colors right. The most rewarding part of the collage creation was seeing everything that I had worked on for hours finally come to life, just like how I imagined."

Artist's statement: "I chose the design because there is so much variety in the different symbols that represent America and I wanted to create a collage to display that. The most challenging part about creating the college was combining all the little functions into one large one that would actually create the collage. The most rewarding part of the collage creation was when I finally got it to run and saw it displayed and that it looked exactly like I wanted it to."

Artist's statement: "When designing this collage, I found a picture my mom had taken in Colorado. I used the photo, along with my family’s history with the state, as inspiration to reflect my own Colorado memories. I wanted to capture the various colors and art forms that I discovered during family trips to Colorado. The part that I found most challenging about creating the collage was developing the posterization code as it needed to be very specific for different luminances. The most rewarding part was getting the different posterizations and color changes to work. I believe that the various details display the image how I envisioned it."

Artist's statement: "I choose this design as I wanted to show my friend's artwork and show the world that we all created together in our time playing D&D. This is the planned home of our characters and as this group has been such a safe space for me, I wanted to show that they will always be a place I can run to, just like a home. The most challenging part was probably just figuring out what modifications I wanted to do for each image as I wanted to pick something eye catching but still possible with the limited knowledge I possess. The most rewarding part had to be seeing each section work after I created them, specifically the night sky and it's randomization aspect."
