Artist's statement: "I chose this design because it contains the things I struggled with the most, so I wanted to improve on those codes. I struggled the most with getting the red border around the outside even. The most rewarding part was improving in the parts I struggled with."

Artist's statement: "I chose this design because I wanted to try something different. I chose a waterfall because it represents nature and that is something that I enjoy. The most challenging part for me was finding a picture that I could use because I was originally going to use a picture of a waterfall that I took, but I chose this image because it would be easier to work with. The end result was very rewarding because I was able to bring my vision to life."

Artist's statement: "I chose the design because it uses the 9 boxes rule which is appealing and I wanted to draw a fish. I spent too much time on it. Halfway through I figured out what the return was and that was challenging before that. The most satisfying thing was just seeing it work."

Artist's statement: "I have been a nerd for the ocean all my life, knowing that the infinite space is more explored than our oceans fascinates me and inspired this collage. The most challenging thing was sizing everything so it works together. Seeing all the aspects of the piece come together was my reward."
