The 43rd MIdwestern GrapH
TheorY conference will be held at Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne on
November 3rd and 4th, 2006. The conference will honour Raymond Pippert, who
recently retired from the IPFW Department of
Mathematical Sciences.
Events
NEW! The schedule of talks
for Saturday is now available.
- There will be a reception from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening of November the
3rd, hosted by Prof. Lowell Beineke at his house:
4529 Bradwood Terrace, Fort Wayne.
- The conference will start at 8:30 on the morning of the 4th; the first
contributed talks will begin at 9:00. Multiple sessions of contributed talks
will be held through out the day.
- Jay Bagga of Ball State
University will be giving the plenary address at 11:00.
- Following Dr. Bagga's talk we will be holding a luncheon in honour of Ray
Pippert. A Western theme will be in effect; suitable attire is encouraged.
The lunch will be a southwestern-themed buffet catered by Blu Spoon. Lunch
will be $10 per person.
Location and Accommodations
Fort Wayne is served by Interstate 69, several federal highways, and the Fort
Wayne International Airport (with direct flights from most nearby hubs).
Directions to campus are available.
At this time, we have not made any group arrangements for accommodation. A
list of area hotels is available.
Registration
As is customary for the MIGHTY conference series, registration is free; we do
request that you register in advance to help us in our planning. Please indicate
whether you plan on attending the Friday night reception and the Saturday
luncheon.
