Play RBP AI Challenge now using Java Web Start!
Requirements: Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Runtime Environment,
available for free at
java.com.
You can try out the new GUI client, which now supports autonomous
play (games between two AI bots).
You should be able to run it as
java -jar RBP-0.6.jar, or simply double-click on it
in many operating systems. The graphical client has no online help
yet.
(Note: If you download the jar files with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE)
on Windows, IE may rename the jar file to a .zip file.
You will need to rename the file back to a .jar file before it will
work correctly.
The best solution, of course, is to avoid Internet Exporer;
Firefox behaves more
nicely.)
Note: The text-only client is currently unavailable.
