  9. Would you fund this research after listening to this presentation? Why, why not.
  10. Discuss the overall suitability of research, feasibility of the research. Does it find answers to an important question? Did you find that important aspects were left out? Can the answer be obtained by the methods suggested?
  11. Were questions (if any) answered adequate


Individual Sections: (note each of these sections does not need an individual slide or exactly a slide with these words -- the entire presentation must convey the important aspects of the written proposal)

  1. Title Page: (include title, presenter’s name, date)
  2. Problem Description: (A Must!  What is it? Did it contain why something should be done to change the current status quo?)
  3. Research Objectives: (Was it concrete achievable goal? Was it consistent with the research design, data analysis and results section?)
  4. Literature review: (Contain recent significant research results, and discuss how this effects current research  (background).  You must put you efforts in context of others in your field of interest.)
  5. Importance/Benefits of the Research: (After listening do you think this research is important?)
  6. Research Design: (the plan: provide details in sample selection, if any. May also contain collection method, procedures.  Basically, how are you going to come up with solution for your research problem.)
  7. Data Analysis: (Description of the proposed treatment and theoretical basis for using the selected techniques)
  8. Schedule: (include major phases until report generation, feasible?)
  9. Facilities and Special Resource: (If not included, should it have been)
  10. Deliverables (Should at least include one, the technical report, may include others such as measurement instrument or computer program)
