Instructions on using the posted presentation

The slides that were used in the lecture presentation can be viewed here. The slides are posted in a frame-based html file. You will need a browser that can handle frames. The new browers installed at BSU will handle frames. The information contained on the slides is posted in five frames.
  • The top left frame consists of two buttons. These buttons allow you to expand/contract the table of contents (displayed in the lower left frame) of all slides.
  • The frame displaying the table of contents (lower left frame) is the heading for each slide. These headings are hyperlinked in this frame to the respective graphic slide (the middle right frame). The expanded table of contents is the body text on each slide is displayed. So with one print command, you can print the entire set of text given in the entire presentation. You can use the scroll bar to view the entire frame.
  • In the top right frame there are six buttons used for navigation. The double less than button takes you to the first graphic view (middle right frame)of the slide. The double greater than button links the presentation's last graphic slide. The single greater than or less than takes you forward or back one graphic slide respectively. The button containing the circle and an i, links to the index page of the presentation, the introductory page that says Click here to start. The home button (cute little house picture) links to CS 104 Virtual Office page.
  • The middle right frame is the graphic view of the slide. If the slide contains a picture this is the only place you will be able to view it.
  • The lower right frame is reseved for notes. This is left blank in our posting.
  • Good navigating!
