You are to use the world wide web and/or the library to find information pertaining to some important event that occurred during the last century since 1900. You may pick any event that you wish. Judging whether or not an event is important is your choice. The focus of this assignment is to create a Powerpoint presentation that could be used to present the event of your choice. For example, refer to the presentation from the beginning of the semester about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s I Have a Dream speech.

This Powerpoint presentation must be completely your design. You are not to use any of the template backgrounds or formats. Length of the presentation is not as important as content . Be sure to organize your slides so as to convey one idea per slide. Be sure to start with an introduction and end with a conclusion. This assignment is worth 25 points and is due Thursday April 12, 2001.
