Josh, Tan, and Jerry started creating a simple GUI for the project which looks pretty good and will be a good temporary interface while we focus on other more important planning and programming issues. Jon worked on the code for Sockets so we can connect to a Monopd server. Ben and Matt are working on the requirements document requirements for Milestone 1.

This week we started our weekly planning meeting by setting up the Team-Tan wiki and the user pages for each team member. We then started studying the workings of monopd and the protocol that will be used in this project (we set up a basic game of two players. One was running the open source client, Atlantik, and the other one was connected via telnet). After this, we discussed basic design ideas and came up with some items to be brought up at the next client meeting.
