Homework 5: System Testing, Part 1

Due date: Thursday, March 20.

Each team system tests another team's code (the assignments are the same as for the design review). The development team gives the test team access to the executable code, to the system test cases defined for MS 5, and to their bug tracking database, as well as to any system test data, if needed.

The test team members divide the existing system test cases among each other. Each person turns in a report that states the following:

the numbers of the system test cases they were responsible for (e.g., test cases 51 through 70);
how many of these succeeded, and the numbers of those that failed;
10 additional system test cases (written by the tester), and whether they succeeded.

Any bugs that are found by the testers will be entered into the bug tracking database.
